As a dedicated carp angler I have in the past used most barrows on the market. For most of the venues that I fish I prefer a single wheel barrow which is best for all terrains. About  a month ago I received the new deluxe low loader. I must admit I was reluctant to leave my trusty old mk2 barrow at home.

However after having used the new low loader deluxe extensively at many different venues I am hooked. The improvements in design are dramatic.

Firstly the low loader is so easy to assemble, just fold out the handle and the front bar and it is ready for use in seconds. no loose parts no messing around with knobs etc.

The low centre of gravity gives great stability and manoeuverability. At rest even with awkward loads there is no tendancy for the barrow to topple over. Whilst pushing the barrow goes exactly where you want it to. Some barrows tend to fight with you making it hard work. The low loader overcomes this completely.

A key part of the new design is the folding front carryall/rucksack bar. This enables the heaviest weights to be placed directly over the front wheel. This means that the barrow in effect does the hard work and carries the weight not you. This feature is unique to the low loader deluxe and is absent in all the competitors barrows.

The rear platform allows the largest of bedchairs and any rod holdall to be carried,and the sidebars ensure any amount of tackle is held securely in place.

Finally at the end of a long session it is easy to fold away and very compact. it will even fit in any car boot when folded.

I really feel that prestige have a winner here,and I must admit I never thought that I would be asking if any one would like to buy my old mk2 porter? My advice to you that if when you are fishing next and your barrow seems like hard work,ie heavy to carry and not very stable,get down to your local shop and load up a low loader as I have described and test it. You will be pleasantly surprised .
